| Motivation |
| The
vision enshrined in the message of the Hon’ble Former
President of India, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam addressed
to the youth of the country underlines the need to have
indomitable spirit for achieving success in life. It is
worth quoting here a few lines of the message having significance
to all of us involved in the fulfilment of the mission
:“Do not allow problems to become your master,
you should become master of the problems, defeat them
and succeed.” We also derive strength and inspiration
from this message to have indomitable spirit while serving
the cause of the institution. |

College |
Marwari
College, Ranchi was established in 1963 by Marwari Shiksha
Trust entrusted with the task of promoting educational
institutions in the state of Jharkhand. It has established
several educational Institutions in and around Ranchi.
The First President of the Marwari College Governing Body
was Late Sri Ganga Prasad Budhia. Other prominent members
of the Governing Body were :
# Sri Atma Ram Shah
# Sri Hemen Ganguli
# Sri Basudev Kataruka
# Sri Hanuman Prasad Sarawagi
# Sri Ram Swaroop Modi
# Late Sri Ganga Prasad Budhia
was the last Secretary of the College Governing Body at
the time of takeover of the college by the Government
